UK Euro Partner has sponsored its first Scottish mountain rescue team. The first team to be awarded the sponsorship is Galloway Mountain Rescue Team.
They received the sponsorship award in the form of Safe Light BatonSafe Kits, which will be useful at night as demarkation tools.
One observer noted that it was interested to see a new sponsor for the mountain rescue teams when generally sponsorship is being reduced due to the economic downturn. Tony Harper, National Sales Manager at UK Euro Partner explained "Good times or bad times, people still need to be rescued, and these guys put their lives on the line. The least we can do to help is to donate the safety products that we know may help to save lives".
