The MarineSafe Kit produced by Safe Light is a well tested product. All components are tested and certified and even in some cases patented. This does not stop UKEP and Safe Light from making further tests. Recently the UKEP team visited the Isle of Wight as part of a photographic expedition. During the photographic session our sales manager managed to instantly create a new test for the complete MarineSafe Kit. By knocking it off the railings on the Yarmouth Pier we were able to observe it carefully (frantically) as it floated away. There are pictures to document this episode.
We day was saved by a family who had a RIB nearby and kindly went to find and retrieve our MarineSafe Kit. After less the 30 mins the Kit was safely back in our possession and we offered our thanks to the family who saved our Kit. Not detered by recent events our sales manager proceeded to enlighten the family about the benefits of our MarineSafe Kit, taking time to note that he could also guarantee the entire Kit floats should it ever fall overboard!
The afternoons events created some speculation and fun for the members of the Royal Solent Yacht Club who observed the goings on with some interest and kindly allowed us access to their pier to retrieve the MarineSafe Kit.
