Safe Light - MarineSafe Kit

In April 2008, Safe Light will release its new MarineSafe Kit. The Kit is designed for use by boats from 20'-55' and aims to provide emergency lighting to mark both port and starboard; individual light sticks to mark crew and illumination for the interior.

The Kit is especially beneficial in a marine environment as there are no parts to corrode or rot, the active components all float and work 100% in water and the exterior illumination is ready to be fixed securely to cope with all sea and weather conditions. All the components are certified for safety and do not have to conform to SOLAS as the Kit does not pertain to emergency lighting under that classification. The Kit serves to remove panic in an emergency situation by providing immediate light without the need for battery or bulb.

Each kit is certified and registered for 18 months use, and the user is automatically notified of the expiration of the Kit by email 2 months before it expires. The manufacturer or its agents will then replace the Kit.

Look for the MarineSafe Kit on display at the next major boat show in your region. You can order direct from the Safe Light website: www.safelight.ch/UK
